Indian Pennywort
Centella asiatica, commonly known as gotu kola, Indian pennywort, or Asiatic pennywort, is a perennial herb native to tropical regions of Asia, Africa, and Australia. Centella asiatica is characterized by its creeping growth habit and fan-shaped leaves that can be green to reddish-green. The plant thrives in moist, swampy areas and grows well in tropical climates.

Plant Details and use
The plant is used for the management of anemia and stomach ulcers. The whole plant is boiled in 2 glasses of water and taken ½ glass two times a day for five days. For stretch marks, acne & skin infection, the leaves are pounded and mixed with a body jelly (e.g., Aramis) or the cream from Milk and applied twice a day.
To treat genital thrush, the whole plant is smashed and soaked in hot water, used while warm to bathe the areas.
When taken via mouth, it is good for diabetes, asthma, and arthritis.
For asthma, a handful of the leaves or other aerial parts fresh or sun-dried are soaked in 1 liter of hot water for 5-10 mins. The resulting decoction is strained and drunk twice a day for 5 days.
