Plant Details and use

The plant has been used for the management of asthma. The whole plant is dried and ground to powder. 1/2 tsp is put in hot water for 10-15 mins. Sieved and taken 1/2 a glass thrice a day for 2-3 weeks.

Alternatively, the dried plant is put on a metal plate, then burning charcoal is added, then the smoke is inhaled every evening while going to bed. Alternatively, the powder is rolled to make a cigarette and smoked.

It has also been used to boost milk production in lactating mothers. the plant is dried, then ½ tea spoon is put in 1 glass of hot water and drunk twice daily. 
 For peptic ulcers, the whole plant is used. It is ground to powder, then ½ a teaspoon of the powder is put in ½ a glass of hot milk and taken before every meal for at least 7 days. Children receive half the adult dosage. 
It is also used for warts and boils by applying the milky sap from the plant to the conditions.
