Plant Details and use

 For pneumonia, 1 tsp of dried root powder is added to a cupful of cold boiled water. It is left to settle for 10-15 mins. It is then filtered and then drunk twice daily for 3-4 days. Alternatively, mix 1tsp of roots, twigs, leaves, and barks mixture of the whole plant steeped in a liter of water for 10 mins and drunk 1/2 a glass twice a day for 3-4 days. 
It is also used in managing malaria. 3-4 grams of the dried leaf powder is added to 1 liter of hot boiled water and left to cool then strained and the infusion is drunk 1/2 a glass twice a day. 
To treat gonorrhea, the roots are boiled and mixed with soup from goat bones, ½ a glass each. Drink twice a day for 7 days 
To manage nerve problems, the roots are boiled and taken 2 glasses a day.
