Plant Details and use

The plant grows mainly in hilly places for example hilly places around Narok 
In the Maasai community, it is used as a dewormer. It is also used to treat goiter and for blood and kidney detoxification. It is boiled and drunk, 2 glasses a day. It can be mixed with tea or porridge and drunk to deter its strong smell.  The seeds of the plant can be ground into powder.  It treats blood pressure. It however is not good for diabetic patients. It also assists in the removal of afterbirth. It is mixed with banana bulb and used to treat heart problems. It can also be used to treat cut wounds. Its fruits are crushed, mixed with animal fat, and squeezed on the wound.
