Plant Details and use
For bronchitis, a handful of the chopped roots is boiled in 2 liters of water for 30 mins, cooled, and sieved. Take a glass twice a day for 5 days after meals. It was used to speed up delivery among the Kikuyu. It has also been used for other conditions like Asthma, Diabetes, Rheumatism, Scurvy, Baldness and Intestinal worms.
