A common weed on cultivated ground. Originally native to South and Central America and the Caribbean.

Used for ear infections

For stomach problems like diarrhea, tender leaves are crushed, soaked in warm water, filtered, and taken before meals. For children, 3-6 years give a tablespoon. For adults, take ½ a glass twice a day. Also used to stop bleeding in fresh cuts
