The plant is used in the management of Asthma and other respiratory conditions. Rub the fresh leaves and flowers within the palms until a strong scent is emitted. Sniff deeply to clear the nostril and the airways in the chest or inhale the steam when you boil it. 
Crush the leaves and inhale to unblock clocked nostrils
