Persea americana

English: Avocado, Kamba: Ikloviu, Kikuyu: Mukorobea, Luo: Abocado, Kiswahili: Parachichi,

Family: Lauraceae

For teeth problems like gingivitis and teeth cavities, the seed is crated, dried and ground to powder. The powder is mixed with water to form a paste and applied on the affected part of the mouth.

To manage acid reflux, the seed coat is removed and the avocado seed is crated, dried, and ground to powder. A teaspoon of the powder is mixed with a glass of warm water and taken twice a day.
N/B: This is also good for the treatment of amoeba, painful periods and worms infections.
