For fungal infections, dried leaves are burned into ash and applied to the affected areas. Alternatively, a handful of fresh leaves are smashed and soaked in hot water and used to bathe the affected areas.
To treat scabies, the leaves are pounded and the juice is mixed with body jelly and applied directly to the affected parts twice a day.
