The plant is used in the management of asthma. The leaves are crushed, infused in hot water for 10-15 minutes. Because of the bitter taste, honey is added and taken, ½ a glass twice a day. Mix 3 Spoonfuls of honey with ½ a glass of the infusion.
It is also used to manage throat ailments, eye cataracts, Coughs and wounds. For wounds, pounded leaves are soaked in a glass of warm water to make an infusion and applied on the wounds.
