The plant is used in the management of Malaria, Hepatic disease, Diabetes, Blood cleansers, Uric acid, and Respiratory conditions.
For blood cleansing, 5 g of ground powder is added to 1 glass of warm water * 3 daily for 3 days.
For anemia, a handful of the leaves is boiled in 1l of water for 10mins. 1 glass is drunk twice a day for 4-7 day. Children 6-10yrs+1/2 a glass twice daily, 2-6yrs-1/4 glass twice daily, 2-3mths tsp twice daily. Alternatively, 1tsp is soaked in 1lt of water.
